Worst ever decision of buying any electronic product dealt by ALJ

Bought last Friday (01-03-24) Toshiba dishwasher, 1st of all they delayed the delivery, and they delivered by normal labor, no technician was available to install or guide properly, how to run the machine, after fixing when we try to run the machine there were multiple errors, when I call them for help their simple response was ok technician will contact you with in 5 to 7 business days, did I purchase the equipment to showcase in my kitchen???

Payment issues

I had a contract with your company , and 3 month ago I went to Russia for a vacation . Because of war I couldnt come back to KSA , and I inform your colleges about the situation what happens to me.

The said ok , we will take car back until you will come . We make a deal. Now I came back to KSA , here is no car , and my documents was sent to court , and I have to pay amount 21.000 SAR . What to do in this case ?

I am ready to continue my contract , I didint run away or something , but I get a problems , what can happen with everyone , now trying to find a solution .

Service Offer Rejected

Dear Sir,

I have my concern registration no. 800017**** registered dated on 09/08/2020 through alj toll free no.

I have had my car serviced at your service center in last December 2019 at Badia Toyota Home.

At that time, the service agent offered me two services in which second service is F.O.C. with an extra payment which I opted.

I came to your service center on 8/08/2020 and claimed my free service which is rejected by the service agent saying that the car is outrun the target Kms. so that I am no longer eligible for my free service.

During CORONA lock-down, I was unable to go to the service center to use my free service. So I am forced to do service of the car in a service center nearby my house.

As my wife is working in the Health Care Profession, I got to use the car during CORONA lock-down in Riyadh also and I was not in a position to withhold the service of the car to a later date.

I have contacted the service Engineer many times but unable to get an answer from him.

He asked me to wait for three days but in vain. Hence, I humbly request you to provide me with the free service which is entitled to me.

I launched a complaint against my washing machine repairs before December 9 2018 on Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) helpline number 800127**** via my mobile number 056-529**** that my washing machine ES-FDP914SA-W (receipt attach) is not drying and warming clothes. The man name Adil (Your representative) having mobile number 053-885**** came to my home and checked washing machine said that one warming part is not working so I will get this part from your company and come back to you. Since then we are chasing him sometimes he don't pick the phone and sometimes he said he have a part in his car he is too busy and can't come and sometimes he committed that he will come tomorrow and does not come. Now, it is more than a month and he is not picking his mobile. So Again I complaint on January 3, 2019 and get the complaint number 920215 and also to contact Mr. Rafi 056-030****. I called him early morning and he responded and then he told me to contact at 9:30 a.mn when he will reached office and since then I'm chasing this man, and still not succeed. He never picked up the mobile. On January 13 2019 again I got a complaint 922680 but still no action done. I'm really pissed off with the service of ALJ customer people. Please help me. I'm the regular customer and I have purchased lots of things from ALJ like 1.3 Air conditioners 2.1 washing Machine 3.2 televisions 4.1 Microwave 5.1 water cooler 6.1 Bread Toaster 7.1 Vacuum Cleaner 8.RAV 4 (Zero Meter) After using one year return to ALJ back Please provide the assistance and take necessary actions against these people who are not co-operating with the customers.

I launched a complaint on number 800127**** (ALJ helpline) against the washing machine purchased in March 2017 Model Number ES-FDP914SA-W from Abdul Latif Jameel before December 9th 2018. The Complaint was launched via mobile number 056-529****.

My washing was not drying and warming clothes. The person name ADIL having mobile number 053-885**** came to my home and he checked the washing machine and said the heater is not working of washing machine. He said there is a part which I will bring and fix. It is just a matter of hour.

Since then he didn't came back. He is also not picking the mobile. Then I again call to Customer Center after a month on January 3 3019 against same complaint number 920215 and then again on January 13 2019 with complaint number 922680. I get the supervisor name Rafi having mobile number 056-030****.

He pick the mobile and say I will do something you can call me at 9:30 a.m. on the same day. Since then I'm chasing him and he didn't response. WHAT a BAD ATTITUDE of your service people.

I'm the regular customer of yours. I Purchase 3 AC, Fridge , Washing machine, Water cooler, Micro wave, Toaster, 3 Televisions and car RAV4.

I was always happy with service of ALJ but this time I'm really pissed. I hope somebody may pay attention and resolve my issue.

Compliant - Auto Jameel Ford Egypt

My Car's Details:

* Ford Focus 2018

* Vehicle Vin: WF04XXGCC4JL18989

* Consumed Kilometer: 2530

* Date of Purchase: 11 July 2018

Kindly be advised that I had purchased the above mentioned vehicle from Auto Jameel Egypt through leasing, I loved the car since the first time I see it, thus I put all the saving money I have as a deposit for the car and I am paying the installments on a monthly basis. Once I purchased the car and before even I receive it from Auto Jameel, I ensured the car with the recommended insurance company from Auto Jameel's side.

I did everything to keep my car secured and new all the times, I already secured a parking lot for it, so I don't leave it in the street. and even trying to not drive in destroyed roads.

But the problem is the car I did purchase has no armored for the engine and the gearbox. on last December while I'm driving my car the road was very crowded and I crashed in *** once this happened I stopped my car, called the maintenance shop of Auto Jameel Ford in Egypt and the Insurance company - who never get back to me at that day - then I rented a winch and moved the car to the maintenance shop, after two or three days the insurance company informed the maintenance shop that the car is a total loss???!!! - not even me. They evaluated the car cost to be 308,000 L.E. - I have Paid 124,000 L.E. as down payment, and 31,500 L.E. as installments till now, and the car total cost after paying all the installments shall be 502,000. The strange thing from Auto Jameel is they did inform me when I purchased the car with leasing, that if I am interested at any time to pay the rest of my car payments one time in cash, they will cancel the interest which is 152,000 L.E., but unfortunately now they told me they will only make a discount of 57,000 L.E. and I have to pay 95,000 L.E. by this I will lose all my saving money I put in the car.

Thus I have tried with the insurance team at Auto Jameel - because they are the reason that I ensured with the Delta Insurance company as they have a deal with them, and in the meantime, Delta company never reply to me - to fix the car as I don't want to loose it, and after a great debate, they agreed with the insurance company to pay 45,000 L.E. however the cost of the fixing is about 130,000 L.E. after adding taxes, which will cost me around 85,000 L.E. put in your consideration that the insurance team at Auto Jameel is defending the insurance company all the time and is not standing beside their customer. and they are trying to convince my to fix it at any non-official maintenance shop rather than paying the high cost, actually, I have tried but I didn't take this step as it is not guaranteed and will take my car out of the guarantee period.

The conclusion, I don't want to loose my car as I love it, and I want to fix but the insurance team at Auto Jameel are against me, thus I reached you to find a solution for me with them.

On 18/11/18, my husband took our car DAD 4582 for service at Khurais Road. He gave the car in the morning and the service people told him to come back at 1600 hours.

When he return to get our car, the service boy has knocked our car bumper into something and damaged it. This upsets my husband. We have the car for service and as a service center all cars should be taken great care.

The people there just say sorry and told my husband comeback some other day to change the bumper. This is utterly ridiculous because the time, money for traveling by taxis after giving the car and the stress we have to go through is terrible.

This is not justifiable that people in the service center do as they which carelessly and waste someone else’s time and money.

Who is going to bear our traveling money from the house to the service center and than going to work without a car daily? I need justification on this.

Im in shock to see this message!!

Im very old customer from ALJF since 2013 and this is my second contract and is ending end of 2019.

Why at this level I have to receive this type of message.

Just like any company working in Saudi Arabia, ALJ is not exception. Once you have made payment and bought something from them, they start behaving abnormally.

I bought one cooking range and it stopped working after one week.

I called their customer service and service center twice over 3 days but every time the same rely that repair team will contact you soon. As more and more mudeers are adding up in company the customer services are deteriorating.
